ATMOSPHERIC PLASMA DBD GENERATORS

The system uses the dielectric barrier method, which is a form of gas discharge by placing the barrier in the discharge region and produces cold plasma. Adjusting the frequency and range of applied fields to electrodes to achieve a fully uniform, as well as the ability to adjust the processing time are some of its features. The DBD plasma system is capable of working in atmospheric pressure as well as the ability to work under pressure from the atmosphere (vacuum mode), which in many processes can produce more favorable and controllable results.
These characteristics make this type of plasma a highly effective and useful tool in the fields of medicine, biotechnology, printing and packaging industries, agriculture, chemistry, polymers, and so on. The dielectric barrier plasma can be produced in the high voltage range by using two electrodes, one of which is coated with a dielectric layer, and the distance between the two electrodes is several millimeters. The existence of a dielectric barrier limits flow and lowers the plasma temperature.

Features and Capabilities

1. Customized atmospheric plasma production with the input of any arbitrary gas that must be combined with argon gas.
2. If the customer wants, it is possible to add vacuum mode. In this case, the working pressure will be about 10 to 760 tours.
3. Completely uniform plasma production.
4. Adjustable voltage from zero to 20 kV peak to peak.
5. The time of plasma applying is adjustable.
6. Adjustable frequency to achieve a uniform plasma.
7. Voltage and frequency display.
8. Equipped with arch management system and current limiting protection circuit.
9. Has a suitable enclosure for placing the samples.
10. Equipped with cooling system for sample electrode. In this way, there is no change in the temperature due to heat transfer from the electrode to the sample.
11. There is an electric shock protection by means of digital lock. The device will not be activated if the enclosure's lid is not in place.
12. There is a gas inlet and a gas outlet as an exhaust. (Input gas can be any arbitrary gas, but it must be combined with argon to produce a minimum of filaments, although this is not the case in vacuum mode).
